About This Nest Box
This Kestrel box is currently under constrution. I hope to install it in the coming week 15.02.2026
Construction
- 18mm Pine (I have cut rebates so it fits together like tongue and groove)
- Felted roof with side overhang
- I originally was going to slope the front lip of the box (as in the first pictures) but I felt this would leave the opening too narrow.
Camera Setup
Inside the box:
TP-Link Tapo C100 2MP camera @ 1080p 30fps
3D Printed Camera enclosure to protect the camera.
